2024年8月15日 · In the back of the red sports car he swapped a water-cooled 3.6 L flat-six from a 997.1 GT3 producing 400 hp (294 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. In future builds, REEN Cars will offer engine displacements from 3.6 liters to 4.0 liters. The flat-six features a custom exhaust with an electronic “E-flap” to control the noise level.

2024年8月18日 · REEN Cars call this the Porsche 964 RS GT - a modern interpretation of the 1991 Porsche 911 RS N/GT, of which 291 examples were built. It was, essentially, the 964 generation’s equivalent of a 911 GT3, with more power, less weight, and stiffer chassis than the 964 Carrera, upon which it was based.

The Porsche 964 is a model of the Porsche 911 sports car manufactured and sold between 1989 and 1994. Designed by Benjamin Dimson through January 1986, it featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models, most prominently the more integrated bumpers.

If you're replacing a 964 crank, the rod journal, rod length and the wrist pin is the wrong size. Using a GT3 crank also requires the use of a custom made crank pulley in addition the a different pulley bolt. There are a plethora of things to consider but number one is that it is only a direct replacement for a GT3 crank.

This particular 964 is a prototype restomod created by Reen Cars in Germany, known as the Reen Concept RSGT. The vision behind this exceptional build comes from Philip Hoffman, the company’s founder, who transformed the 964 into something extraordinary by fitting it with a GT3 engine in the rear.
