Before installing it is necessary to modify some UEFI Settings. They can be accessed by pressing the F12 key repeatedly when booting. Change the SATA Mode from the default "RAID" to "AHCI". This will allow Linux to detect the NVMe SSD. Disable Secure Boot to allow Linux to boot. This may be re-enabled at a later point.

Has anyone tried the New Dell XPS 17 (or other 12th gen intel options) with Linux? Specs seem pretty good. I made a configuration for base price $2399 (with Intel Iris gpu, no Nvidia). In particular, stability and multi-monitor support are important to me. Had one in my office for a month before my boss upgraded to it. Of course I put Linux on it.

I have made sure that sof-firmware and alsa-ucm-conf packages are installed as per Arch Pulse audio guide. But nothing seems to work, pulse shows "Dummy Output", so laptop speakers does not work.
