The last year the WR250 2 stroke was sold in the US was 97 and it didn't get the updated body work or motor changes that the YZ's got that year. There was a 98 WR250 available in Europe and Australia, of which several were imported into Canada by Bert Flood Imports of Australia.

2006年3月11日 · The '98 WR250 is a whole different animal from the prior years. They did not import this particular year to the US ('97 was the last), but did into Canada. I wanted one, and did the research, only to find it was a red-sticker bike.

2007年12月17日 · How about putting an older WR motor into a modern frame. Since my 02 YZ is currently blown up, maybe Ill look for a WR motor instead. In 98, my friend bought one of the first YZF400s in the area.

2023年2月19日 · Hey, was hoping someone can help. I’m restoring my 98 Wr250. Built in 08/97. Looking for the right pipe for the bike. I’m finding that only the FMF gnarly will fit. Anyone know what else might be available for the right fitment ? Thanks, Kody
