I usually find I feel terrible until I eat at noon, making my morning unproductive. I'm an incoming freshman who is doing my first year abroad in Florence, which means I have limited class selection. While I would love a 1:30pm class, there is a required class I must take and the only available times are from 9am-10:15am or 5pm-6:15pm.

2022年5月26日 · 9-5 is hard enough as an adult, don't want to inflict that on kids. Imagine how stroppy they'll be. Also teachers have to prep lessons after school ends so if they have to teach the kids from 9-5 they probably won't finish working until really late.

2023年7月12日 · Like any field, work hours ebb and flow a bit with major project deadlines (interim analyses, final database locks, regulatory inspections, etc.). Edit: To some extent, you don't necessarily have to work exactly 9am-5pm but at most companies there is 100% an expectation that you are working from 930-330pm or so.
