PPLRK 9K333 Verba is developed based on PPLRK Igla-S. Development dates back to before 2007, with trials scheduled to be conducted in 2009-2010. The development was delayed and the vehicle was officially tested by the 726th Ground Forces Training Center (Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai) from 09.06.2011.
