2022年3月30日 · A fun fact I realized recently: The fifth Song of Ice and Fire book A Dance With Dragons was published in 2011. Also published in 2011 was Leviathan Wakes, the first book in The Expanse series. Since then there have been 8 additional Expanse novels published and the series is now complete. A Song of Ice and Fire has of course done nothing.

Let's face it, we've been waiting for years for George R. R. Martin to release the next book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. But with Martin being 73 years old and taking longer and longer to release each book, will we ever get to see the conclusion of this epic saga? And let's not forget that book 6 hasn't even been released yet.

2014年1月17日 · Books 4 & 5 were originally supposed to be a single book but it was decided there was simply too much content. Rather than divide that content up chronologically into two books GRRM decided to split it by characters. So book 4 & 5 cover a simultaneous time line and each book covers a separate set of main characters.

Iam 35 and havent read any books since high school, a song of ice and fire got me into reading, I have read all the material. Only issue is lots of houses and characters. Since I have seen the show and play a strategy game with all the characters/houses it makes everything easier. Overall the reading is not bad at all was actually fairly easy.
