2020年3月30日 · At my first benchmark there was a message: "Performing below potential (22nd percentile) - ensure that a dual+ channel XMP BIOS profile is enabled" So i went to my bios and change the profile to XMP, afterall i thought it was a good thing because my bios was telling me that my ram was using 2400mHz and on the box it said 3200.
[SOLVED] - XMP Not Working - Tom's Hardware Forum
2020年1月5日 · As far as the memory being "stuck at 2133mhz", that's ALL DDR4. Default is 2133mhz so if you don't set the XMP profile or it won't run at the XMP profile, then it's ALWAYS going to run at 2133mhz unless you manually set it to some other value. Being at 2133mhz isn't an "issue", it is the default configuration for most DDR4 platforms.
[SOLVED] - DDR5 RAM not stable with XMP - Tom's Hardware …
2023年3月17日 · I ended up using Memtest86+ and TestMem 5. I'm now at 6400 MHz with the XMP timings (for 7200, so they're probably a bit looser than necessary). DRAM voltage/VDDQ both at 1.25V, 1.20 didn't work. I reduced CPU VDDQ and VDD2 to 1.25V as well from whatever it was set to after enabling XMP.
How do I know if XMP settings are enabled? - Tom's Hardware …
2018年3月17日 · You WILL have to turn XMP on in your BIOS as it won't be on by default. When you change it in the BIOS and reboot it may set it back to off if you have not set it correctly or your BIOS decides it can't do the memory overclock for some reason. Checking with Task Manager is a good way to see if XMP has 'stuck'.

Is XMP on all Intel CPUs? - Tom's Hardware Forum
2015年3月9日 · It really seems like XMP is very specifically for using RAM over 1600, which (according to Intel at least) is OCing. In other words, XMP gives Intel CPUs preset profiles for using RAM over 1600, even though Intel CPUs don't "officially" support RAM over 1600. Thus enabling XMP is considered OCing. This is why its not enabled default.
