2020年8月20日 · A bit high.: Most diabetologists would suggest keeping your a1c closer to 6 (between 6 and 7). Actually, if one observes the data on risk vs a1c, risk starts to rise at an a1c of 5.5; however, there are fewer episodes of hypoglycemia if one maintains an a1c between 6 and 7.

2017年12月17日 · 7.3 is a relative number and needs to be put into context. If your previous A1c was higher, 7.3 shows a good trend. On the other hand, if the previous test number was lower or is your first A1c, it is time to talk to your doc. I am insulin dependent and my Endo feels that in order for me to be below 7 I am at risk of experiencing too many hypos.

All my other numbers have improved, even this 3 months where the A1c went up my Total Cholesterol went from 158 to 151 down from 175 6 months ago. LDL 108 to 85. 2025年2月11日 · Diagnosed Type-2 at A1C of 7.2, 12yrs ago (weighed 350lbs, now 260lbs). Now 67yrs old. On Jardiance, Metformin. A1c has ranged during that time between 7-8.5. Not a progressive upward trend, just up and down in that range with probably averaging 7.6 ish. Added Mounjaro and got A1C to 7.0, but had to stop because of GI side effects.
