2020年1月26日 · Took it to a bmw specialist garage and they charged me £150 for a diagnostics check. Apparently there was water ingress and the fault code A6A3 for hydraulic fluid temperature sensor flagged up. They now want to charge me £400 just to dry out the car to see if it starts working again. My question is, is this reasonable?

2020年8月12日 · Decription of the sensor is delivers a signal to the CTM when guide bolt of the front shell has reached the guide in the base plate. As of this position, the drive for hardtop locking can be activated and the rear module closed again. Pictures related to this issue.

2022年11月1日 · I has an issue with my 2011 BMW 335i e93, where the roof hydraulic pump stopped working and the roof was stuck mid way. To fix it I disassembled the roof hydraulic pump assembly (worst mistake of my life ).

2021年3月24日 · Red light on the roof button, checked the boot and found water, mainly in the battery area. BMW diagnosed and are saying the motor and pump will need to be replaced, c£2.5k for the part 5437 7309 634. The error is A6A3 which I believe is a temperature sensor (not the outdoor temp but hydrolic temp).

Fault code A6A3, Hydraulic-fluid temp sensor, is stored in the convertible top module (CTM). CAUSE. The electric motor for the hydraulic unit has overheated and failed. CORRECTION. Replace the hydraulic unit and update the vehicle programming. PROCEDURE. Replace the hydraulic unit per REP 54 37 185.

2017年5月11日 · Either bad salmon relays, bad pumps or lunrication of the various joints were the fixes. Those are easy enough but the big concern is the trunk lid not closing when the roof is in the trunk. Has anyone heard of this issue and a possible fix? Any help will be much appreciated.
