Available to facilities outside of the United States, AABB’s Quality Certificate Program is based on the Fundamental Standards for Blood Collection and Transfusion.

AABB's Standards combine the field’s leading quality management system essentials with technical requirements designed to ensure optimal quality and safety for donors, patients and staff. These Standards form the basis of AABB's Accreditation program.

As such, the Standards can serve as the basis for accreditation anywhere in the world. AABB Standards are based on AABB’s Quality Systems Essentials which leads the field in quality standards worldwide.

2006年1月7日 · Here is the AABB Standard (IRL Standards 5.1.4.2): "The criteria for the use of non-FDA-licensed reagents (including expired reagents) shall be defined." The standard does not mention a specific QC requirement, only that there must be defined criteria for use.

The new program will officially launch in early 2022 and represents the first significant update of AABB’s Standards and Accreditation Programs in more than two decades.
