Membership Information (Membership) - Alpenverein
For children/youths aged between 0 and 18, if both parents are current AAC(UK) members then membership is free. This also applies to children/youths with a single parent or guardian who is a current AAC(UK) member.

The Austrian Alpine Club (UK) is the British Section of the Österreichischer Alpenverein (ÖAV), Sektion Britannia! The AAC(UK) is one of the largest mountaineering clubs in the UK with over 12,000 UK and overseas members.
Training Courses & Grants (AAC(UK) Training) - Alpenverein
The AAC(UK) has a number of level 2 MTB leaders around the UK organising led rides for members. The ride locations span the whole of the UK, and some leaders have completed further training to become MTB tour leaders in Austria with the Alpenverein Akademie.
Events & Activities Alpenverein
AAC(UK) members organise a wide and varied programme of activities for their fellow members, ranging from day walks through UK weekend meets to full weeks and longer at home and abroad.
