Embark on a singular training experience with P5 CTS/TCTS, a versatile, immersive platform that engages students in real-time air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons simulation. Deployed globally to over 30 ranges and given its ability to operate untethered, P5 has a proven “anytime, anywhere” training capability.

Autonomous air combat maneuvering instrumentation (AACMI) are second-generation GPS-based ACMI systems. Unlike first-generation ACMI systems, which use ground radars to track and record the position of the aircraft on the range, AACMI systems use aircraft-mounted satellite navigation systems such as the US NAVSTAR GPS system.

The P5 CTS/TCTS airborne subsystems collect and process in-flight data to perform real-time weapons simulations and records pertinent mission data to support post-mission debriefs. Packaging options include an external pod, an “internal set” and a rack-mounted configuration to support a variety of different aircraft platforms.

Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) Pods are specialized devices attached to aircraft, primarily fighter jets, to track, record, and analyze aerial combat training. 2022年8月24日 · Cubic’s P5 IS configuration is also interoperable with the P5 CTS/ Tactical CTS Increment I (TCTS I) ACMI system. More than 2,000 P5CTS/TCTS I pods are currently in use with defence customers worldwide, along with 17 coalition partners.

Aircrews rely on Cubic systems to prepare for combat missions more effectively, and with less risk - and the P5 pod is a central component of the operational picture.

Under the contract Leonardo DRS will deliver two more production lots of its P5CTS internal subsystems for Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) system.
