I’d have to file down both the bottom rear of the acog base and I’d have to file down the Kram spacer. I’d file the spacer not the acog. If they moved the holes on the spacer a 1/4” either way it would work better for my set up. You can basically run it as you see it or basically just a spacer standard. You can turn the spacer 180.

I'm using one for a PA 5x. Zero issues, mounts up solid. I like it. The mounting holes do not line up well with my TA31/LaRue mount.

2020年10月4日 · IMO, the 'best' mounts to use with Krams for an ACOG or a Browe are ones that have 5 mount holes, vs 2. Makes them more flexible. Examples with 5 holes would be an LT622 or LT799, vs the 2 hole LT100.

2022年10月23日 · I have an ACOG at about 2.55" high and it makes it far better. Just like how everyone is running 2.77" mounts now it's just comfier, faster and better. Kram also adds the benefit of pushing the optic back for the folks who shoot with longer extended stocks. Eventually everyone is going to run piggybacked dots on their LPVOs and ACOGs.

2022年8月9日 · In my opinion, get a ta02 with a kram 5.5, and piggyback your dot. Even if you aren’t running nods, i think this is the meta acog setup.

2022年10月13日 · Mount the iron sight in front of the ACOG. Put the ACOG as far back as it can go on the receiver. The military does it wrong for everyone who isn’t shooting with a completely collapsed telescoping stock. This is what I did, and I like it a lot. If you can find one, a GDI Mount will let you mount further back as well. I sent you an email.

Does anyone here have experience with the KRAM ACOG spacer? I have a 4x ACOG and have noted the usual issues regarding short eye relief and placement. The KRAM spacer is supposed to raise the optic slightly to clear rear BUIS allowing the optic to be further to the rear, reducing issues with the short eye relief.

2021年9月6日 · New mount came in for my ACOG (Weapon Outfitters KRAM spacers) and it looks and functions so much better than the previous mount I was using. Moves it high enough to clear my BUIS without giving me a chin-weld, and far enough back to keep my nose off the charging handle. Highly recommend the KRAM.
