You can find out if your laptop has this feature by following these steps: Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager. Expand System devices, and then right-click ACPI Lid. Choose Properties.

2019年2月5日 · Now as the name suggests, when I open my laptop lid after closing it, my screen is black. I've seen multiple solutions, most of which incorporate the use of ACPI Lid Power Management. When I attempt to change my ACPI Lid settings, I see no available tabs for power management, the only available tabs for me are General, Driver, Details, and Events.

2009年9月5日 · I fixed it!!!! I went to "volume manager" in the Device Manager under System Devices. I right-clicked and told it to update the driver and it went back to ACPI Lid Driver. I don't understand what happened, but it is fixed. Hallelujah!!

Hi, I'm looking for a way to prevent display switching when I close the lid of my laptop. On my old laptop, under Windows XP, I could open the lid while watching a movie on a secondary display (TV) e.g. to check something on the web on laptop's monitor - displays remained as they were.

After reinstall windows on my laptop. The issue has never happened in the past, plus, I don't have this issue when using Ubuntu (dual booted) either. The issue is: My current windows version (1709) runs perfectly on my laptop. But whenever I closed the laptop lid, or put the system into Sleep/ Hibernate mod, I can't get back to the section again.

2015年12月21日 · Unfortunately it wakes up again immediately. powercfg lastwake told me that ACPI-Lid was responsible. So yes, opening the lid when it is closed should wake the computer, but if the lid is open when the computer is told to sleep, it shouldn't wake until the lid has been closed and then re-opened Dell M6800 BIOS level A16 FWIW Any ideas on this one?
