We isolated Bacillus amyloliquefaciens HNGD-DF2 from Chinese tofu to investigate its detoxification potential. It exhibited efficient degradation of AFB 1 (99.9%) and ZEN (87.4%). Subsequent experiments revealed that copper ions enhance AFB 1 degradation and manganese ions promote ZEN degradation.
