While big luxury groups have industrialised watchmaking, we break, then reconstruct the rules of watchmaking every time we create a new timepiece.

The AHCI Academy (Académie horlogère des créateurs indépendants) became stronger and received its unique name in 1987, when organized its first stand at the leading event in the international watching industry the exhibition European Watch, Clock and Jewelery Fair Basel-87 (hereinafter known as Baselworld).

The Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI, English: "Academy of Independent Creators in Watchmaking") is a non-profit association, founded in 1985 by Svend Andersen and Vincent Calabrese under Swiss civil law. Its mission was to perpetuate the art of independent watch- and clock-making.
