2011年5月29日 · The risk with the 5.45 is that future restrictions will completely dry it up from the marketplace until US mfg jump in. Maybe I'm wrong but an AK just doesn't seem right in 5.56. Seems like there is a very limited market for parts and mags for it. I'd stick with 7.62 or 5.54.

2012年7月19日 · The Dragunov is based on the AK-47 but differs in several respects. The Dragunov receiver is longer to accept the X54R cartridge and also reinforced. The Dragunov has a short-stroke gas piston instead of the AK gas piston which is connected to the bolt carrier. Russian Tigr & Chinese NDM-86 were imported into the USA.

2024年1月3日 · Any AK pistol will run any steel cased ammo. ARs maybe maybe not. I polish all Ar chambers to a mirror finish and steel works in mine, but, I keep them shiny and wet. My AK or SKS, does not matter. On the AK you need to oil them once, every 14-15 years and you should clean them at the same time. Ars, gotta be clean and wet.
