2016年7月10日 · As you just had a major failure I would especially want to check head space. At the very least get a no-go gauge. I would check the trunnion area where locking lugs on bolt turn into, make sure no chips or cracks.

But when you do, it's either due to a bad batch of parts from production/assembly (which presents issues very early on) or it's due to dickhead American companies like Century Arms fucking things up when they receive the rifles stateside (triggers, magwell work, furniture, etc.)

2009年7月8日 · Borrow the recoil spring from your buddies AK and try a few rounds. Ejector - bent, broken or in the wrong place (yes, I've seen it on a US made receiver, ejector placed too far back). The ejector shoud be at either a right angle to the reciever, or on some models, a slight hook toward the breech.

2014年8月12日 · I bought a new WASR10 a few days ago. I went out to zero the iron sights and my Bushnell TRS25 today and tried it out. I had a Pmag and a steel magazine the rifle came with. Had no issues with the Pmag, but then I used the steel mag and I've had 6 or 7 failure to feed issues within 130 rounds fired.

2017年3月12日 · It took me decades before I purchased an ak, every one I looked at quality wise was past the bottom of the barrel and in the dirt. They were in rough condition. But when I seen the brand new Russian izmash saigas I had to get them. Their all flawless in operation. Stovepiping check your extractor and ejector. I lube my guns with a moly paste.

2021年5月21日 · Hello, I’m having light primer strikes with my g5 AK. I’m having the issue with Tula and brown bear ammo. The brass stuff I’ve found is running ok. Problem is if I have an AK it should eat everything. I have less than 100 rounds through the gun. Someone else posted about this a couple weeks ago.

2019年8月25日 · After a minimal amount of research, I've found a few things: They are not super well-made. They function (when they want to). And further, they're even potentially dangerous to fire! I'm going off of Mishaco and AK Operator Unions' videos. Seems like the reviews at Classic reflected these things quite a few months ago.

2015年6月23日 · These 4 rounds failed to fire out of 30. The rifle is an Adams Arms 5.45X39mm Piston upper on a Palmetto OIF lower with the extra strength hammer spring installed for use with 7N6 surplus ammo. The ammo is new commercial Wolf in full metal jacket. The primer/rounds have been fed through twice. The original primer strikes looked the same to me.
