2005年8月16日 · The 414 excels at recording acoustic instruments, whether it be on a drum kit, piano, acoustic guitar, etc. And for amps 414's can do well with cleaner tones, like those coming off of a Roland Jazz Chorus or a clean setting on a Fender amp. 2005年1月16日 · AKG had a rep back in the day and were one of the major manufacturers of some stunning mics. Those days are gone. The only mics AKG makes anymore that are worth writing home about are the 414's, D112 and 451. I would pick the ADK TL or one of the AKG 414's over the KSM44. A very good deal now is on the discountinued 414 B-ULS and 414 TLII.

2005年3月18日 · Then I brought home an AKG C 414 -B XL II. Just from the first small test the difference was so obvious (on Mackie Onyx preamps) that I instantly kept the AKG and returned the Røde. The pricetag is doubled on the AKG but the idea is that this is a mic that will be handy to have in the arsenal whatever the size of my studio will grow.
