2010年5月5日 · The AKG K420 headphones sound nice. They are great if you want, or need high fidelity, semi-open, portable phones. I hate closed phones. The K420(s) sound like my AKG K240 MKII(s), if I were to boost the lows & highs on them a little bit The lows are deep and tight on the 420s. Kick drum and floor toms sound great!

2008年12月30日 · When spending hours in the computer lab at school, the AKG K420 has pulled through with flying colors, plugged into an iPod Touch. They're forward, fun - but not to so much that they sacrifice too much honesty, and you don't find yourself straining to hear details that the other "fun" headphones have problems letting you hear.

2011年2月5日 · I read one review on AKG's homepage where the connector had broken, but the cable seems solid. My wife has got the K518LE and that cable seems solid as well. It has got the same type of connector as the K420. I think all the portable AKG headphones in the same price group have the same or similar cables...

2010年1月5日 · The detachable cables are thin but appear to be very strong. The connections on the cables are top-notch. AKG uses this ingenious system where the connection between the cable and the headphone needs to be turned about 90-degrees to lock it into place. Good thinking there! The pads are durable but plush.

2008年12月30日 · Well, I tried to sell my husband on the K450 and he wasn't having it. He's a bass head. I pointed this out, but he said "Yeah, at the expense of everything else!" - so he keeps my K420 and I just have to hope the V-Jays can keep up. If not, then it's time to order another K420. A good portable AKG option would be the K181 Another nice portable for under that price could be the Audio Technica ESW9. You could even buy a Beyerdynamic 1350 or Audio Technica ES10.
