2016年5月26日 · actually if you mod AKG k550 mk3 with solderdude method. it makes akg k550mk3 sounds like akg k500 in clarity and soundstage(i think k550 have more stage and clarity) but giving the more bass than akg k501 with natural extension. Decay rates are way better on this new set and it images better than both set.

Original pads showing wear; 1/2" seam coming undone along edge. 1/4" Tear in original band near the "R", but doesn't affect functionality, though band is loose; elastic bands need replaced. Strain relief on cable separate from jack, though the jack is fine. Works great.

2016年5月30日 · So these are a bit lively, but surprisingly open for a closed can. Bass is not lean (like the K501 sounded to me), nor over done. Just right. Mids are pretty well done as well. These are IMO among the best closed dynamic cans I've heard. The cup area is smaller than with the K501s, so having big ears may be problematic for some.
