As you know, Matt, I like the AKG CK94, though it is often forgotten: it is a very decent-sounding single-diaphragm mic in the mid-price range. Indeed, the whole Blueline series of mics are decent and often overlooked.

2022年8月24日 · The soundstage is very good and comparing directly with an EQ'd HD650 makes the latter sound so very small, but of course more impressive in other ways. Where I notice that these lack refinement is something like Tingvall Trio's Beat which just lacks the detail, clarity, timbre and separation to shine like it can with an HD650 for example.
