2015年11月1日 · Not sure if I buy that but the additional tungsten in the 716 is supposed to do the trick. He said 716 AP2's have more than double the amount of tungsten of any other current production iron. Felt pretty much like the same old AP2's to me though and Ive played em all since 710. Short irons do look better to me though, very small almost blade like.

2016年12月7日 · Not a huge amount, but I noticed it. I consider the Apex Pro 16 to be between the 716 AP2 and 716 CB in terms of forgiveness. Distance is about the same for me, but I'm weird that way. I've tried the 716 ap2, 716 cb, apex pro 16, cf 16, z545, z745, etc and they all seem to go about the same distance for me.

2016年12月27日 · I would choose 716 CB over 716 AP2 due to looks at this point bc the CB looks like a damn classically sexy iron compared to the AP2, while not ugly by any means, aesthetically looks a little too modern/technology centric for my tastes...

2016年7月30日 · The AP2 feel great but do have a slighter harder feel. Although the CB have the tungsten on the toe, hits towards the toe feel terrible on the CB and are punishing. AP2 feel very similar across the face. The CB get through the turf amazing. So crisp. The AP2 are more like a sledgehammer coming through. Not as sharp but still decent.

2024年12月21日 · You should have no issue. 716 AP2 is one of my all-time favs and is very forgiving for its size. You'll lose about 1/2 to 3/4 of a club length due to the weaker lofts, but feel will be way better Edited December 21, 2024 by leftylama

2015年10月30日 · I had 712 AP2 for almost 2 years before a trip to Oceanside for a full fitting in Feb. of 2014. During the fitting, we used 714 AP2 to find the right shaft. However, the suggestion was just to keep the 712 over the 714's with just a slight shaft change. Changed the shafts in the AP2's and have not wondered or even wanted to look at new irons.

2018年12月15日 · I thought Titleist 716 AP2 would be a good option, as they are popular and easy to find as used. However, if they are as small as the P760 I think I should go for some AP1's for that intermediary period until I get a proper fit of new clubs. Would really appreciate your feedback as to the various head sizes. Many thanks!

2019年8月6日 · I played the original AP2, 712, 714 and currently the AP2 716. Find the 716 forgiving for a mid-handicapper like me. Was fitted with the TT XP 95 shaft that works very well. If someone had the chance to test them against the AP2 please give us your opinion.
