This applies to ANY wildcat actions, including slowdown, work-to-rules, withdrawal of enthusiasm (WOE), sickouts, etc. It is irrelevant whether the union itself has anything to do with the action.

I heard the last few interviewees in October were told it would be close to a month before hearing any word back and they were filling the December class.
