2023年10月15日 · Fwiw, APR is doing at home flashes towards the end of the year and early next year for all models. Other tuners are basically forcing them to follow Suite. Fwiw, all stage 1 tunes are roughly the same.

2014年8月10日 · If you drive like a grandma w/ 100 octane and on the 100 tune, the engine life won't be affected nearly as much as driving hard on the 91 tune with 91 gas. APR designs their tunes with engine life in-mind, so your engine should last as long as an untuned engine. Stop worrying about it.

2023年2月4日 · Was tuned Apr stage 1 for about a year then had this message pop up. Took it to Audi just to be told I need a new transmission, was quoted $16,000. Luckily my warranty covered it but the transmission took 4 months to get delivered from Germany, just got it back last week.

There is a new genuine Audi piston style DV that's plug 'n play on the 2.0T's. It's from the new Audi 4.0T platforms. It's a bit north of $130. Here you go. There's also always the Forge DV kit, but I'm not sure it's worth nearly double the price of the Audi piston DV, and nearly 4 times the price of the G revision diaphragm DV.

2024年3月7日 · The APR tune kind of sucks as they were too lazy to even create a TCU tune so you can't access the full torque gain anyway. I used APR ECU/TCU on my Golf R and that was fine though. Dunno if 034 has SQ8 tune, but I think IE and unitronic both do and I'd use both of those over APR personally.

Surprisingly, APR wins the stage 1 contest here with 253hp/309tq on 91 octane to Unitronic's 245hp/280tq on 91. However, their top tunes for a MKVI without switching a turbo is no comparison. APR's stage 2 for 91oct is 270hp/319tq, lower than Unitronic's 280hp/325tq 91oct regular stage 2 file, and way lower than the 340hp/330tq on Uni's stage 2 ...

2019年7月25日 · Has anyone performed an integrated engineering tune in the Audi? I recently moved to Denver and a mechanics was talking to me about APR in the altitude and weather conditions. Said it could be tough long term in the car. I have a 2015 B8.5 A4 Sline. Integrated has an interesting downpipe system and a stage 2 tune that goes with it.

2021年1月21日 · Just traded in my APR Stage 1 Mk7 GTI for an '18 Q7 3.0T, and already having the itch to add more power. Having thoroughly enjoyed my APR tune previously, leaning towards looking to go APR Stage 1 with the Q7 as well.
