2013年1月6日 · I do not have much personal experience with ASC's 5.56mm magazines. However ASC's 7.62x39mm are 87 Times better than the C Products versions of the same. With the CP's the gun never made through a magazine without a malfunction. The ASC's have functioned flawlessly.

2018年3月4日 · I had 8 ASC .308 AR-10 magazines. All 8 were junk. In all 8 of them, I could only load about 6 or 8 rounds before the followers got stuck in the mag body. When trying to get them unstuck, I would get one round out, and then all the rest of the rounds would just fall out. I tested each mag by pushing the followers down with a screw driver.

Amend2 sell a ten round polymer magazine that gets mixed reviews. I have over thirty 6.5 Grendel magazines manufactured by C Products/ASC, E-Lander and CPD Duramag.

2017年1月7日 · Some people modded them to work, so to each his own. I chose to spend ~$30 per mag for metalforms at the time vs. the $20-ish for the CP/ASC, so I didn't have to dick around with mags. Colt did switch from Metalform to CP/ASC mags for a short time, but I believe went back to Metalform due to issues.

2023年6月23日 · 6.8 and 6.5 G ASC 17 round mags have been (usually) pretty reliable for me. Their larger capacity magazines in these calibers need Dremel work and feed lip tweaking, or circular filed. The mid-sized magazines in oddball AR calibers have a better chance of being reliable. Barrett made good full capacity 6.8 magazines, so does PRI.

2022年9月2日 · Now, I don't want to argue on what magazine is "the best", but I do want to encourage discussion, experiences, debates on current factory Duramag AR15 magazines. I currently own 2 marked c-product, 3 marked 7.62x39 (for an AR15 PWS gun I want to build), and a od green ar15 30 rounder.

2023年7月9日 · ASC magazines are manufactured in Connecticut and use a light gauge stainless steel body. I don’t own any ASC 6 ARC magazines but I suspect the ribs and shape of the mag body are the same as 6.5 Grendel but with a red follower tweaked for 6 ARC.

2017年4月19日 · Busted out one of my USGI magazines from ASC and it seemed that the rounds sat much higher and the feeding issues went away. Since it was only meant to be a short trip to the range I only had the two magazines, but I might have to find some more Pmags to see if they run well in my gun.
