2020年6月6日 · Grounding is key but weatherproofing of the ATAS 120A is very important. I added a little blob of black Permatex silicone to the slit in the rubber boot where the whip passed through on top of the antenna shaft. My ATAS stayed dry for years but many hams found their ATAS 120A had turned into a rain gauge due to water intrusion. 73, W4BSS

2022年1月22日 · I use an ATAS-120A with an FT-891 and a FT-991 at my HOA here in Florida. The ATAS is a great performing antenna given some qualifications that need to be adhered to. I think that you will find that MOST of the nay Sayers on this antenna probably do not adhere to the essentials that need to be followed to make it work properly.

2020年12月13日 · I can click with the mouse for almost anything I need. The RSPdx and SDR Console combo gives me a first class panadapter. Just added an LDG auto-tuner which works great with ATAS, and with the excellent receive capability of this compact radio, there isn't anything I would trade for under $1500 (well maybe an FT-991a).

2020年6月13日 · The MP1 is a class act, quality hardware and I like the frequency guide card for coil sizing. On the Wander Lead I got one to use as my Pickup's HF/CB antenna replacing a 4-1/2 foot fire-stick.
