The Santa Fe (ATSF) No. 4076 was a 4000-class 2-8-2 Mikado typ steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1924 for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. On July the 13th, 1951, Mikado no. 4076 - along with fellow Mikado 3167 - were among ten Santa Fe steamers, all awaiting scrap at the ATSF Topeka railroad shops.

The 4000-class Mikados of the Santa Fe totaled 101 locomotives erected by Baldwin Locomotive Works from 1921 through 1926. No. 4002, shown here at an unknown location, was among the first to be built. This class had a locomotive weight of 310,000 pounds.
