AWVR 1206 is an AWVR (Allegheny & West Virginia Railroad) EMD SD40-2 diesel locomotive in the 2010 action/thriller movie, Unstoppable, that encountered and chased after the runaway AWVR 777. It's crew were none other than 28-year veteran Frank Barnes , as the engineer and Will Colson as the rookie train conductor.

SWP 2002 is the Power for this unpowered SD40-2 "shell." The SD40-2 has had parts of the hood removed as well as extensions added to the walkways to aid in filming in cab and walkway shots. Movie Extras sit in WNYP's Olean yard. These units all have the same numbers as the others in Port Allegheny being filmed. Taken from a Public walkway.

Not sure what the story is here, but one of the boxcars lettered for the movie is seen sitting on a flatcar minus it's trucks. They look real, but these are actually 1:1 scale models of SD40-2s. I have no idea what the crane like attachment is on 7346.

2012年1月6日 · The Final locomotive that we take a look it as AWVR SD40-2 #7375. Her main role was the lead engine on the two unit lashup sent out to try to slow AWVR 777 from the front. She also played AWVR 5624 in the film. She was built by EMD in February 1986, and is the 3rd to last SD40-2 ever built. She was built as Nacionalas De Mexico #13002.
