My favorite part is that he’s all cuddly and sweet and sniffing flowers and Manon is like this harsh, battle hungry witch.

2022年8月18日 · I didn’t have the ability to search on if Abraxos survived when I first read the book. But if I had, and I found out he did, I think I’d be more upset because then I would assume the rest of the Wyverns did too. It would hurt even more I think.

2023年10月14日 · If Abraxos‘s name had been forgotten/ warped over time it would‘ve needed centuries for the immortal beings to forget and slowly change it to Bryaxis. And since Feyre saw Bryaxis before she was pregnant, and Abraxos was still present in TOG when Aelin world hopped… he therefore cannot be Bryaxis. Buttt…. I have another theory.

I've been re-reading Heir of Fire and I just noticed the similarity between Hiccup and Toothless in HTTYD and Manon and Abraxos. Obviously their situations are different, with Toothless being totally dependent on Hiccup, but the scene where Manon and Abraxo

2024年6月16日 · I just finished KOA and I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers, so forgive me if this has been done. But I haven’t seen a post about Abraxos, and how he’s just as great a character all the humans/fae/witches/etc! I want to know more about his love of wildflowers, and his mate.

I think he represents the heart Manon never got to express. She felt deeply but kept it hidden. Abraxos looked weak, should have been weak, but he wasn’t. He killed when no one thought he could. Manon felt when no one thought she could/should. I think it’s an interesting parallel. And dragons snuffling flowers all day every day please!
