Acrow Halt was a railway station on the Saffron Walden Railway. Located at the north-eastern edge of Saffron Walden, Essex, the station was close to the Coronation Works of Acrow Engineering Ltd., which it served between 1957 and 1964.

2017年5月12日 · The halt was constructed by Acrow and donated to British Railways on completion in 1957. The opening ceremony was attended by the mayor of Saffron Walden and the driver and fireman of the first train to call at the halt were presented with a bottle of champagne.

2019年7月5日 · Located just outside Saffron Walden on the Audley End to Bartlow branch, this line opened in 1865 but Acrow Halt wasn’t opened until March 1957. It was built to enable staff to get to the nearby Acrow factory. It has a short life, closing to passengers in September 1964 as a consequence of the Beeching cuts.
