2020年10月29日 · Adam just didn't bother to completely seal the front of the cabinet. I opened my old Mackie MR8 monitors which were cheaper to purchase (at the time) than this one, and the front behind the plastic fascia is fully sealed with the tweeter housed in another box layer of MDF.

2020年10月29日 · A surround setup with Adam T series speakers is about the same as some Neumann stereo setups so that may be something to take into consideration also. I owned T7V and T5V also and they are great too for the price, but the T8V's extra bass is maybe big enough to make it worth the little bit extra.

2020年3月7日 · It might not be too fair to expect the Adam T8V to match the BM15 as they are much bigger and rated for much more SPL (10dB more). BM15 should sound much more dynamic from a mid-field setup.

2019年12月10日 · The Adam T8V has 15 dB lower harmonic distortion in most spots compared to the JBL LSR308P MkII. If there's a family resemblance, the Adam T5V may have the distortion headroom advantage over the LSR305P MkII as well, which is what you mention possibly hearing at higher volume levels in the mid-field.
