2019年10月12日 · For a melee armor, this is a rather interesting sidegrade for Adamantite that sacrifices defense and secondary stats for all-out DPS. For the two other classes, though, this is nothing more than the armor for those that can't be bothered to look for the Tier 3 ores and who were unlucky to also get Cobalt in their world.

Ok but why is titanium better? on the wiki it says adamantite has better offensive boosts (and more defense). The only thing titanium stands out for is the set bonus which was OP when it was first introduced but now that they shifted it over to hallowed and gave titanium an even worse set bonus than orichalcum and palladium I see adamantite as the clear winner

2022年10月16日 · Adamantite armor's melee helmet variant set bonus tooltip claims to provide 20% movement speed (on top of the 5% given by boots) and in reality provides no such bonus. Measured with timers and the ingame shellphone's speed counter, it did not increase maximum velocity or acceleration.
