2018年12月11日 · When I added a second pickup to my archtop I used a stereo (TRS) jack - mag pickup on the tip, piezo on the ring. Output through a TRS plug into a Baggs MixPro which allows me to select either pickup individually or blend them.

2024年2月17日 · I would go ahead and solder the mag pickup output to the ring of a TRS output jack. Then install a piezo SBT of your choice soldered to the tip. IF you ever want to use them together use a TRS cable to a dual input preamp like the Baggs Mixpro.

2020年12月11日 · More modern Carvins and Kiesels with 2 outputs have a piezo system, for acoustic sounds. If you plug into one if the jacks, the guitar outputs both signals (piezo and the humbuckers) through one jack, but if you plug in a 2nd cable, the acoustic signal is split off through this cable for a different signal path.

2017年10月27日 · Perhaps you want to have a two pickup guitar with dedicated outputs for each pickup, and each pickup out of phase with it's partner. Then run the separate outputs to dedicated amps?

2018年3月7日 · As I understand it, you want to add a second jack? Use the arrangement you have above and add a second jack like a Switchcraft 14B. Also change the original mono jack to a regular (non-switching) stereo (TRS) jack. Wire the T and R on this jack together.
