Jul 17, 2019 · It sounds like the ADV 150 valve adjustment is about as difficult as the Like 150i. That took me around 3 - 4 hours the last time I did it. Plastic removal is what takes most of the time. My experience is that you can safely double the manufacturer's recommended interval. I went 10K miles between the initial check and the next one.

May 28, 2008 · Comfort. The ADV 150 has a better riding position but the Kymco seat is much better. In stock form the Kymco is much more comfortable than the ADV for me but after trying a few seat pads I found one that works on the ADV. With the new seat pad the ADV probably gets the edge on comfort but I'll need to do some long rides to know for sure ...

Mar 3, 2023 · The ADV 150 does NOT feel like a highway rig. Yes, there's some vloggers and others that do cannonball, etc and I love watching their videos; but I'd be aiming for a Burgman 400 for interstate or highway use in my personal opinion. Overall, a solid scoot and I don't regret paying more over a 2023 Zuma 125 I originally had a deposit on.

May 28, 2008 · More importantly, I believe there are non-speed advantages, including valve-checking as I recall. I was surprised that the 2022 ADV did not get the new engine, but given what I learned about the 2021 PCX, I did not downgrade the ADV because of that factor. Also, each year I've preferred the single (as always with Honda scooters) ADV color.

Jul 23, 2021 · I'm 200 miles into mine and I'm getting an idle surge, sputter, maybe a misfire and backfire occasionally. Definitely not the hum of a quality Honda engine. Maybe I'm just not used to the exhaust note. My 2016 Honda Metro purrs like a kitten. My 2005 Honda generator hums like a clock. My 2022 ADV 150 percolates like a Mr. Coffee machine.

Jul 23, 2021 · Need some help here - 2022 ADV 150, 1300 miles. Idles rough, stalls at stoplights (or on the center stand), hesitates (big time) when the throttle is opened wide. No DTC codes. I checked the air filter, all clean. I tried some fuel injector treatment (no help) and then some Sea Foam (no help).

Dec 28, 2020 · That's where the Honda starts to remind you that you are on a 150 scooter. The SMax pulls boldly into the lower 60s then gets to its top speed of an indicated 73 much more quickly than the ADV hits its indicated max of 64. Surprisingly the SMAx felt more stable at max speed. The ADV tended to get shifted around by the turbulence a little more.
