The Language Enabled Airman Program (LEAP) helps bridge these gaps by giving U.S. Airmen the language skills and cultural knowledge they need to collaborate effectively. This was especially important during the Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) Exercise at Morón Air Base, Spain, from Feb. 1-8, 2025.

2021年1月11日 · LEAP is a career-spanning program aimed to sustain and improve Airmen's language and cultural capabilities. Managed by the Air Force Culture and Language Center, the program seeks to develop cross-culturally competent leaders who can meet Air Force global mission requirements.

LEAP scholars are ready to deploy, at a moment’s notice, with the language, culture and technical skills needed in diverse environments to strengthen strategic connections with partners and allies and enable agile combat employment, or ACE.

The AFCLC accepts eligible Active Duty members, United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) cadets, and Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) cadets.
