AF Millivoltmeter AM324 Equipment Rogers, Catford see
This versatile millivoltmeter offers precise measurements across a wide range of audio and low RF applications, making it an essential tool for audio professionals and electronics engineers working with low-level signals and high-impedance circuits.
Does anyone here use an AC millivolt meter? - diyAudio
2021年11月20日 · A friend at the monthly HAM swap meet has a very clean, restored and calibrated AC millivolt meter. Dual channel 30uV to 100V. (the meter actually has two pointers). Meter has AC and dB scales. I understand that these meters really just do one thing, probably very well, for measuring minute levels of average AC present. What can I use this for?
Radiometer - RV36 - Analog multimeter -- Opweb, the free …
The AF Millivoltmeter, type RV36, is a solid-state, line operated, instrument with complete overload protection. Owing to its high measuring-stability, this millivoltmeter is ideal for laboratory and electronic shop work. Its main features are wide voltage and frequency ranges - from 1 mV to 300 V f.s. and from 20 Hz to 2 MHz, respectively.
The authors have designed a RF-millivolt meter lor measuring low to medium AF voltages. The frequency rang&, input im pedance. and accuracy should be compar able to those of commercially manufactur edRF-millivollmelers.
Old analog milli voltmeter, doesn’t read low mv values - diyAudio
2025年1月29日 · The thing is that the millivoltmeter (which used costs about 2 times more than the millivoltmeter new) doesnt’t go below 15mv- and it’s not a wrong 0 reference. The multimeter shows 18-20mv at the same value but it can go down to 7mv. The millivoltmeter even when the showings are below 15mv, stays there.

An AC millivoltmeter - calibrated in dB - with a range of 30V down to 3mV full scale (80dB range) would be extremely useful. Attach a microphone (electret mic capsules are quite good), and you have a relative sound level meter, even better if you have some way of calibration.

Home-made analog FET milli-Volt meter project...
2022年2月20日 · Have wanted a stable wide-view analog meter with high-impedance input that would measure in milli-Volts range for transistor radio servicing and experiments. My old FET multi-meter only goes down to 1.2 VDC range, so decided to try and build something using only parts I had in 50+ year accumulation.

As an AC millivoltmeter, this project is designed to extend to 250kHz, and you can easily accumulate some serious errors with high-impedance sources such as valve (vacuum tube) preamp stages.
