2022年3月3日 · Before all of this that i said make sure you have the RotWK 2.02 patch v 8.0.1 in there(you can have up to v 8.4.0) the patch has a versions switcher so no biggie. I have installed on my lap RotWK up to patch 2.02v8.4.0 and i just switch the version with the patch switcher to access Age of the Ring.

Age of the Ring is super pretty with a crap load to see but I just get so bored playing it after a while as the faction differences arent big enough and there is too much bloat and unit crossover that isn't implemented with enough thought or purpose.

I personally think that Age of the Ring is what bfme3 should have been. It blends both book and movie lore and is very well balanced and has a lot of unique ideas and is the most updated of those options. Vanilla is decent but is not as fun as modded ROTWK. Edain is the least fun of those 3 in my opinion.

I tried to download age of the ring mod from the moddb site yesterday. The download (some 5gb) took 4-5 hours to fully download. I started the download abit late, and when i got really tierd i turned off my computer, just to realize i had some 100mb left to download.

2021年3月1日 · Man, I was so stoked to learn about Age of the Ring here at the tail end of 2023, I couldn't wait to try it out. Took forever but I finally figured out how to get it all patched and running, and after trying the campaign, I’ve gotta throw my hat in with the group saying it’s way too hard.
