The 13 has the same size screen as the XR (6.1”) but this phone feels a tad bit smaller since the the corners are squared not rounded and the bezels are smaller. The 13 with a case feels like the same size as the XR without a case. Perfect size for me as the XR was just slightly too big. The notch on this phone is a little smaller too.
