The Airbus A220 is a family of five-abreast narrow-body airliners by Airbus Canada Limited Partnership (ACLP). It was originally developed by Bombardier Aviation and had two years in service as the Bombardier CSeries. The program was launched on 13 July 2008.

Bringing together state-of-the-art aerodynamics, advanced materials and latest-generation technologies and engines, the A220 has a range of up to 3,600 (6,700 km), with an impressive environmental scorecard. Powering the A220-100 and the A220-300 are two Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines, specifically tailored for the A220.

The A220-100 is the smallest aircraft in Airbus’ commercial aircraft product line. Its fuselage is slightly shorter than the one of A220-300 and it’s been specifically designed to serve the 100-135 seat market.
