The remote is set as IR because it can't control the volume via CEC (TV has ARC which controls the HDMI input and power state but apparently no volume control). With this setup, when I press the power button on the Roku remote it will control the TV power on/off as well as switching to the HDMI input perfectly.

Feb 28, 2025 · as of last week the sling TV app disappeared on two of my TVs it's only on one of my tvs. however if I go on to the shortcut button on my second gen voice remote on the other two TVs I can find sling and add it as a shortcut. that is my work around for now but I cannot get the sling TV app to show up on my other two TVs on the home screen though.
