2017年6月30日 · As the AK4497 is a chip of voltage output, differential analog output can be easily obtained directly from it but the author of this board also provided another option so that it can be used for current output. I compared the SQ w/o I/V stage using an IVY-III from TPA above, which can be configured to adjust to each output, current or voltage.

2016年1月6日 · AK4497 | AKM - Asahi Kasei Microdevices It's their first DAC chip to support 22.4MHz DSD, which could come in handy if someone wanted to bypass the DAC's internal upsamplers and go with computer-based/software upsampling instead.

2017年11月26日 · That reference to monoaural mode means that it has two DAC chips, each AK4497 is a stereo DAC. But these better DAC chip models have option to be used as a mono DAC by combining the two DACs together.

2019年11月14日 · I currently use a TEAC NT 505 which uses a Verita AK4497 chip on each channel. It is a decent streamer/DAC combo and outshines the DA1 Module in the Amp (which I have been told is an ESS SABRE 9018).

2019年3月15日 · Linn, another top manufacturer compared several top DAC chips for their Klimax range of streamers/DACs and came to the conclusion that AK4497 is the best sounding one, so why not AKM for both ADC and DAC at Merging?
