This is a cassette deck with Dolby CNR, with advanced original technology in addition to Akai's various basic technologies. The head part can adopt a 3-head system using AKAI's unique Super GX head. This head uses a low-noise crystal ferrite core that boasts high magnetic permeability and high saturation magnetic flux density.

This Akai GX-F91 has been tested and is fully functional. There is one small issue : the left led level meter has the first bar illuminated at all times, even when there is no signal. This is shown in the photos .The rest of the meters function normally . Unit is in great shape with a number of light scratches in the top.
