Al Perez (born July 23, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler. He held 16 titles during a 20-year career, including the WCWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Al Perez (July 23, 1960) is a retired professional wrestler. Perez began wrestling as an amateur in high school and was one of the top athletes in his home state of Florida. He started professional wrestling in 1982. He formed a team in ICW with Joe Savoldi known as the "New York Rockers".

In 1988, Perez moved to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) with Hart and teamed with Larry Zbyszko along with feuding with Nikita Koloff and Dusty Rhodes. Al Perez signed with the WWF and made his debut on October 2, 1989 with a win over George South in a dark match at a WWF Superstars taping in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Also known as “The Latin Heartthrob”, Al Perez’s real claim to fame came as the one time champion in the World Class Championship Wrestling organization. He had notable feuds against the Von Erich’s, Kerry in particular and the Dingo Warrior.

2013年7月30日 · He won the prestigious WCWA Texas Heavyweight Championship from the Dingo Warrior (future WWF superstar Ultimate Warrior) in June of 1987, and was awarded the World Class World Heavyweight title two months later when champ Kevin Von Erich was forced to relinquish the belt due to an injury.

In the beginning of 1990, Perez left the WWF and appeared in WCW. Over the next several years, Perez competed in several independent promotions around the United States, including a return to Liberty All-Star Wrestling (LAW) in 2001 Where he beat Jimmy Jannetty for the LAW Heavyweight title, before retiring from the business in 2002.
