Ustadh Ismail ibn Ali is the Head of School, Program Manager for the Center of Innovative Religious Education, and Grade 8 Islamic Studies teacher at Al Fatih Academy. He is a scholar-practitioner who enjoys forging frontiers in Muslim PK-12 and Adult Education spaces.

Al Fatih Academy (AFA) operates under the auspices of the non-profit corporation: Muslim Education Resource Council, Inc. (MERCI). This non-profit corporation was established in September 1999 for the sole purpose of establishing a full-time Islamic school in our community.
