After nearly twenty years, the great Chesapeake & Ohio finally placed an order with Alco. They decided to sample four Century 630s which at the time were being built with Hi-Ad trucks. These locomotives were rarely photographed on their short duty for the Chessie, being sold to MK for rebuilding after seeing only six years of service in the states.
