Alear storms off from her argument with Alfred to go wallow in her angst but unfortunately for her she doesn't get to when an old friend of her mother's shows up to console her.

Alear and Diamant haven't shared their feelings with each other. Now Alear has received a certain item, feelings are even more uncertain. With the help of some Emblems and an unknown figure, they insist on them listening to reason. Alear laid on her bed in her bed chamber, and she stared at the ring she found in the Garden of Memories.

How will she handle herself after a long slumber, far less patience and a mouth which spits venom. Perhaps her worshippers will be less than impressed with this dark engagement.

Alear: It came out of nowhere! I just started running. I’m…not really good with the Corrupted. Diamant: Not good with them? You handle them in battle just fine. Alear: It’s different on the battlefield. I can spot them first, then steel myself before engaging. Alear: That last Corrupted soldier got the drop on me. My guard was down.

When the war finally drew to a close, Alear ascended to become the new Divine Dragon Monarch. His bond with the rulers of each nation resulted in a lasting peace.
