2014年4月17日 · The old sweet feed mix was called COB feed. It was simply I/3 cracked corn, 1/3 rolled oats and 1/3 crimped barley. Approximately 8-10 percent molasses was added for sweetness. Some feed mills adjusted the percentages depending on if the feed was for horses and mules or other livestock.

2010年6月14日 · The beer from the sweet feed taste good enough to drink even before distilled. If you are buying sweet feed with pellets I don't think I would try to use it. That sounds more like a high grade rabbit food. Our Horse farmers around here only feed all grain sweet feed and cracked corn, the the pasture for ruffage and maybe a little hay. NO PELLETS.
