2006年1月29日 · Chill-hazed copper body, with a lot of thin carbonation on the pour – almost categorized by me as fizzy! The color is somewhere between the traditional colors of the Belgian Pale and Dark. Mild fruits and spices in the nose, but the tastes are more pronounced than the nose would suggest. Mouthfeel is rather thin.

Allagash Grand Cru is the brewery’s winter seasonal. The addition of spices to the beer makes it a perfect holiday beverage, but these spices are a traditional ingredient in many Belgian brews.
