The JR was a specially prepared version of the J2X that was made of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Two JRs showed up for the 1953 edition of the race, but both retired. A radical departure from the previous cycle-fender roadsters, the JR used an all-enveloping body that helped it achieve a top speed of 145.35 mph down the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans.
